I finally decided it's never too late to try to be an artist, so this is the first thing I've done; ever (well, since my 6th grade pencil stuff).
I've always liked and admired pixel art, so I thought I would at least start there. I thought it would be easy; so far it hasn't.
I tend to get board with things if I don't have some grand goal. So, I decided to start a graphic novel. To give the frames a little more directorial control without having to start each one from scratch, I used the style above, with fewer colors and blending, which makes it look weird at the actual 1x1 magnification, but gives me the full range I was looking for. So far I'm liking it.
I'd love to know what you think. I can't "Request Critiques" because I'm not a Premium Member, nevertheless, I'll read any and all comments meticulously, since I am still more than new at this.
